Top 5 Food and Drink iOS Apps in Turkey: Q1 2023 Performance

The first quarter of 2023 saw notable activity among the top food and drink apps on iOS in Turkey. Using data from Sensor Tower, we examine the performance trends of the top five apps: Yemeksepeti: Food & Grocery, Tıkla Gelsin® - Online Yemek, Starbucks Türkiye, McDonald’s - Non-US, and Domino's Pizza Türkiye.

Yemeksepeti: Food & Grocery experienced consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 35.9K in late January. Active users fluctuated, with a significant drop to approximately 725K in mid-February, before recovering to around 983K by the end of March.

Tıkla Gelsin® - Online Yemek showed an impressive surge in weekly downloads in mid-March, reaching over 40K. Active users also saw a peak in the same period, climbing to around 100K before settling at approximately 78K by the end of the quarter.

Starbucks Türkiye had a varied download trend, with a notable dip in early February to around 6.1K, then rising to approximately 13.2K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 129K.

McDonald’s - Non-US saw a decline in weekly downloads from 9.7K in late December to about 4.9K by the end of March. However, active users remained consistent at around 100K throughout the quarter.

Finally, Domino's Pizza Türkiye maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 4.2K and 8.8K. Active users hovered around 29K to 36K during the quarter.
